My name is  Cláudio  G. Temporal,and I was born in the
capital city of Recife state of Pernambuco,Brazil. my Last name TEMPORAL
 means STORM in Portuguese,
 kind of funny for my profession; many people think it´s a nick name
  but it´s my real name
    
Fulfilling a childhood dream, in 1973 I completed a course in piloting   at  
EAPAC (Escola  de tAperfeiçoamento e Preparação da 
Aviação  Civil) in Rio de Janeiro at  Santos Dumont Airport, now its works at  Governator´s  Island.
after completed my hours of piloting training, I moved to Belém in the state of PARÁ NORTH OF BRAZIL
and started working with air taxi 
During this time I acumulated 5.000hours of flight with single and twin engines planes 

In 1982, I took a course in helicopter piloting and started working at Líder Taxi Aéreo S/A  as a co-pilot. Working for this Company, 
I was promoted in 1983 to a captain of the Bell 206 (Jet Ranger)
 and the  Bell 205 (HU1H,famous helicopter
used in Vietnan War ) I also piloted the Bell-212/BH12
 and the  Bell-412/BH41, Two medium sized,with a 15 person capacity.
I retired  after 20 years working at  Líder Táxi Aéreo S/A where most of my work was with PETROBRAS 
who was drilling for petroleum in the AMAZON REGION.      
        

         
         
      

         
         
      
         
      
      


During our flights over theamazon  jungle, we transported workers, foods, but mainly transporting materialls used for oil drilling.
The drills were transported in parts. When I retired, I had more of 15.000 hours flight free accident 
      
       My accomplishments includes:ìloting for Airline Licence ATPL nº352, A course in Aviation Security at CENIPA( Centro de Investigação e prevenção de Acidentes) of Ministério da Aeronáutica(BRAZILIAN AIR MINISTRY
Selva e no Mar realizados no CIAAN, Centro de Instrução e Adestramento Aeronaval da Marinha do Brasil  - São 
Pedro D’Aldeia -Rio de Janeiro) , Curso  de  Gerenciamento 
de cabine  CRM -COCKPIT RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (STS / VARIG  -  Rio  de Janeiro ),   Curso  do  Bell 212 e Bell 412-GROUND SCHOOL e SIMULADOR de VÔO na FLIGHT SAFETY INTERNACIONAL em FORT WORTH / TEXAS,  e
Ground school do Hb 350 B2 ( Esquilo )  realizado  no CENTRO de TREINAMENTO da HELIBRÁS em ITAJUBÁ / MG,  além  de outros Cursos feitos na  própria
empresa que trabalhei. 
 Eu me aposentei como Instrutor de vôo da empresa,com especialização no transporte de carga externa e habilitado para voar IFR (Vôo por Instrumentos),  e  nos seguintes  helicópteros:  Bell 212 (BH-12)
 Bell 412 e HB 350B( Esquilo ).
